Sis is the last of eleven sisters
and one brother of the
Hinrichsen Family and the lon-gest
living of all. Parents Jurgen
and Marie (Jensen) Hinrichsen
immigrated to Sacramento from
Fohr, Germany, in 1886. Sis
attended local schools including
Newton Booth and Sacramento
Senior High School, graduating
in 1930. Predeceased by hus-band
Vemon E. Dole, a past-Ex-alted
Ruler of Sacramento Elks
Lodge No. 6. She was a mem-ber
of PERLS: Past Exalted
Rulers Ladies. Survived by son
Thomas H. Dole and wife,
Sandra of Sacramento, and
grandchildren Terri Dole Darr
and husband Wayne of Sacra-mento:
Kathleen Dole White and
husband Weston of Yreka; and
Michael A. Dole and wife
Gretchen of Shingle Springs; six
great-grandchildren: Sarah Lang
Hollingsworth and husband Ian,
Shannon White Eller and hus-band
Justin, Heather Darr,
Chelsea White, Brigitte Dole and
Brian Dole; two great-great-grandchildren:
Mai Skye Darr
and Sofia Hollingsworth. She
will be remembered by all as
"Nana Sis." She is also survived
by dozens of nieces and neph-ews.
Sis was a homemaker all
her life and "her kids" were the
most important thing to her.
Sis lived independently at home
and was cared for there by
Luisa and Shalome since last
November, and attended to in
the final days by Sutler Visiting
Nurses Hospice Care. The fami-ly
thanks them all for helping to
make her last days as comfort-able
as possible. At Sis' request
there will be no services. Any
remembrances may be sent to a
charity of your choice.
