THOMAS D. HANSON 1929-2013 Thomas Duane Hanson was born in Mitchell, South Dakota, March 7, 1929. He went to be with our Lord, and his beloved daughter Lori, on Tuesday November 19, 2013. He passed away peacefully in his own home. Predeceased by his par-ents, Glenn & Eva; daughter Lori; brothers Glenn Jr. & Jim, and his sister Jean. He is survived by, Doris, his loving wife of 62 years, two sons: Greg (Peg) Hanson of Powell, OH., and Steve Hanson of Lodi, CA.; two daughters Deb (Randy) Moberg of Stockton, CA. and Tricia (Scott) Graddy of Lodi, CA. Also sur-vived by seven grandchildren: Zack Moberg, of Stockton, CA; Amanda Moberg of San Francisco, CA; Camille Gordon, Nick Hanson of Jacksonville, FL; Bryce, Brooke and Brett Graddy of Lodi, CA. Also sur-vived by one sister Peg Paris of Rapid City, SD. & many nieces and Nephews. Tom proudly served in the US Navy from 1950 - 1954. He saw three tours of duty on the U.S.S. Bataan, CVL 29, during the Korean Conflict. After his naval discharge he moved back to his native home, South Dakota. In 1963, Tom, Doris and his family of four children made their home in Lodi, CA. Another child com-pleted his family of 5. They have resided in Lodi for 51 years. He retired in 1994, after 15 years, from Pacific Coast Producers Can Division. He was a devout Catholic attending St. Anne's Church. Tom was a loving, generous, faithful husband, the biggest, loudest fan for his children and grandchildren's sports activi-ties; basketball, baseball, soc-cer, BMX racing, volleyball, softball, and an avid San Francisco Giants fan for 50 years. Card games with his whole family were the usual entertainment at the Hanson home. All pets were welcome in his home, with a special fondness for Jake. Graveside services will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane in Lodi on Mon. Dec. 2 @ 11:00 am In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave. Stockton, CA 95204 or American Cancer Society 207 E.
