Amanda O'Reilly passed
away Saturday, November
21,2015, at the age of 104.
She lived in Lodi, and was
born October 14, 1911, in
New Rockford, South
Dakota. She was the second
of eight children. Amanda
graduated from Lambert
High School in Montana, and
she married Orville O'Reilly
in 1929. He passed away on
March 13, 1978, after 49
years of marriage. Amanda
has one son, Larry O'Reilly,
and his wife, Barbara; one
living brother, Daryle from
Vancouver, WA; 2 grandchil-dren;
4 great-grandchildren;
and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was pre-ceded
in death by her sib-lings,
Wayne, Art, Ralph,
Wilbert, Ruth, and Louise.
Amanda was a member of
the Eastern Star, and
Rebeccus of Lodi; member
of the United Congregational
Christian Church; and was
the last of the Charter
Members of the Lodi
Memorial Hospital Auxiliary
in 1998. She enjoyed being
with her son and his wife;
with Tim, Kelly, Brenda,
Debbie and family, and all
the grand-children. Amanda
loved to travel. She had
been to Europe, on Cruises,
and traveled all over the U.S.
and Mexico and was a good
cook. She lived a full life and
made many friends, and
loved them all. Amanda lived
at the Arbor Senior Living in
Lodi for 13 years, and
enjoyed being with her
friends and management.
Visitation will be Monday,
November 30, from noon
until 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday,
December 1, from 10:00
a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lodi
Funeral Home. A chapel
service will be held on
Wednesday, December 2, at
1:00 p.m. at the funeral
home with committal to fol-low
at follow at Cherokee
Memorial Park. A guest book
